For those who enjoy shopping, we highly recommend a visit to Bath, Salisbury or Street (Clarks Village). For the horse racing enthusiast, nearby Wincanton offers a regular programme of meetings. There are many other sights and attractions including nearby Stourhead House and Gardens, which are particularly beautiful in spring.
